Gary Bayes - Scopex Squid Pop Ups

GARY BAYES × COTSWOLD BAITS

A LEGEND REBORN.

There are bait combinations that come and go. And then there are those that become part of carp-fishing history.

Scopex Squid is one of them.

Created by Gary Bayes and developed into one of the most iconic bait combinations carp fishing has ever seen, the original Scopex Squid built an extraordinary reputation across the UK and Europe.

Now, decades later, Gary Bayes and Cotswold Baits have brought that unmistakable Scopex Squid profile back – including a range of dedicated Scopex Squid Pop-Ups.

All in aid of Lucy’s Bowl.

These aren’t simply pop-ups carrying the Scopex Squid name.

They have been developed around the same legendary attraction profile – combining creamy Scopex with the deep, savoury character of squid and the distinctive attractors that helped make the original bait so successful.

Designed as a high-attract hook bait, the Scopex Squid Pop-Ups can be fished over the matching Scopex Squid boilies or used as a highly visible, highly attractive hook bait in their own right.

Perfect for Chod Rigs, Hinged Stiff Rigs, Ronnie Rigs, Multi Rigs and any presentation where a dependable, buoyant pop-up is required.

At their heart is a bait profile with a history very few can rival – including Gary’s capture of the British Record, Two Tone from Conningbrook at 61lb 2oz, a carp that incredibly fell to Scopex Squid on multiple occasions.
